n February 5th, AKB48 member, Itano Tomomi discontinued the handshake event which was held at Tokyo Big Sight, due to her current poor health condition. The handshake event was for the fans who purchased “Chance no Junban (Theatrical edition)” which was released on December 8th, and Itano was going to appear at the event from 9:00 am ~ 8:30 pm (6 times in total, and each time is an hour and a half long). However, she confessed that she was not feeling well after the 3rd event ended, and was sent to the hospital. She was diagnosed with acute gastritis and Itano tried to go back to the event, but her condition didn’t improve. Therefore, the final 3 parts out of 6 was canceled.
