Tokyo Jihen announces new single for 2011

 

Rock band Tokyo Jihen will release a new single on February 23, 2011, but the title has yet to be announced.

This will be the band’s first physical single in over a year, though they did release a digital single this year, called “Tengoku e Yokoso/Dopa-mint“, that placed #36 on Billboard’s Japan Hot 100.
Tokyo Jihen (a.k.a. Tokyo Incidents) is a band formed by Shiina Ringo back in 2004.  Originally a solo singer that debuted in 1998 under EMI, she can be categorized as a rock musician, but her music is very eclectic.
