Japan Box Office Report – January 22nd/23rd

 

“The Social Network” was able to profit from additional promotions it received from its success at the Golden Globe Awards, just in time for its start in Japan. In its 2nd week, it beat the romantic drama “Boku to Tsuma” starring Kusanagi Tsuyoshi and Takeuchi Yuko.
Meanwhile a new sentai movie, “Goseiger vs. Shinkenger“, bravely fought itself into the top 3 now that the Kamen Rider flick has dropped out of the top 10. “The Green Hornet” only was able to trail the shadow of the sentai, even with the legendary Black Beauty.
