GACKT’s new DVD to feature Colonel Sanders on the cover

 

Singer GACKT has just unveiled the cover of his newest DVD, “YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz Kirameki Otokojuku ~Sanjo Konyoku Mizugi Matsuri~ THE DVD,” which features a special “cameo” by Kentucky Fried Chicken’s founder Colonel Sanders!

The hilarious DVD cover depicts a Colonel Sanders statue being stolen from the storefront of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, a pun on the DVD’s title and also a homage to GACKT’s grandfather, who is reported to look much like the famously bearded man. “I adopted the Colonel as my friend! We’re gonna dye KFC and the world the color of YFC!” GACKT replied when asked about the picture.
The DVD will feature the final performance of his nationwide tour, which ended in August of 2010, and will be available for sale on February 2nd for ¥6,000.
