Joined by director Michel Gondry, the celebrities had a lot of fun greeting 1,200 fans at the event. They started off by making green mochi (rice cake), then got surprised by the appearance of beautiful Shinohara.
Shinohara’s thoughts about the movie were: “It’s a really fun movie! I was expecting a thrilling story, but I actually kept laughing throughout the movie. The quarrel scenes between those two made it especially impossible not to laugh.” Cameron Diaz also appears in the movie, and Shinohara revealed that she’s a big fan of her’s. “She’s my favorite actress. I’ve basically seen every single movie of her’s. She has so much charm,” she said.
Director Michel Gondry, on the other hand, was quite smitten by Shinohara’s charms. “She really is beautiful,” he said with an excited voice. “Even my voice is shaky because she is just too beautiful. I would really love to get her for my next movie, even though I usually don’t choose by appearance.”
“That’s why I got chosen,” Seth Rogen interrupted.
The director continued to praise her and said, “She does have a close resemblance to French New Wave actress, Anouk Aimée.”
Blushing under his praise, Shinohara responded: “I’m flattered. Thank you very much. I probably won’t be able to sleep tonight because of those comments.”
“Green Hornet” will open in Japan on January 22nd.
