This year’s “Gaki-tsuka” theme will be “No-laughing SPY”!

It’s been reported that popular variety show, “Downtown no Gaki no Tsukaiya Arahende!!” will broadcast “No-laughing SPY for 24 hours!” as its New Year’s Eve special once again.

The “No-laughing” series has been aired as a New Year’s Eve special since 2006, and it’s a program in which “Gaki-tsuka” members (Downtown, Yamasaki Hosei, Cocorico) are challenged to not laugh any time in various situations. Every time they laugh, they receive a painful punishment as a result.
Each year, unexpected guests make appearance as the “laugh setter”, and set up many traps. This year, “Gaki-tsuka” members will be entering a training school for rookie spies, and about 100 guests will be the “laugh setter.”  Moreover, the producers will be accepting tweets from viewers, and the tweets will be shown on the screen as the show airs.
